The Titration Process

Titration is a method of determining chemical concentrations by using a standard solution. The process of titration requires dissolving or diluting a sample and a highly pure chemical reagent known as the primary standard.

Titration Procedure

A titration involves adding a standard concentration solution to an unidentified substance until it reaches its endpoint or the equivalence.

Titrations are performed using different indicators. The most popular ones are phenolphthalein or methyl Orange.
